I just draw what looks neat.
A hobby that started to help get through the grief of losing someone I loved dearly has evolved into a whole world of my imagination.
Please step in and look around.
Hi, I'm Em
I'm a mixed-media artist working in fine ink, reverse-painted glass, and whimsical little characters. My pieces are drawn by hand, line by line — crosshatch, a single stroke of color, and small details tucked in where only the patient will find them.
Some of my work sits with the old memento mori tradition: life and death sharing one form. Some of it is pure play. All of it comes from the same place — noticing small moments and keeping them.
Every piece is finished by my own hand.
Where it all began
This whole world of ink and imagination exists because of her.
The last call before the last call
This art grew out of grief. So before you look at anything else here, I want you to know this:
If you or someone you love is struggling, hurting, or feeling like the weight is too much — please reach out. You matter more than you know, and there are people ready to listen, any hour, any day.
Make the call. Stay for the rest of the story.
— with love, Em
